I think that's a major factor Brian.
But interesting top see a dearth of awards in so many areas though.
Look at the tight concentration of awards in the south east?
....not a single award in Wales, for example.

Take a look at the APL member map. There appear to be members spread across the UK yet the concentration of award winners is quite clearly clustered in the central southern region. The same is apparent for BALI too.
