Do you think 3 years outdoor is enough to offer?

    • Hi Aye and Susan,
Three years warranty is the highest the manufacturer can make at this moment.
They are testing some formula for 5 years.
500 hours of UV is good in British standard.

Hi Jenny, I guess I am a little surprised as I am used to the 10 year guarantee offered by the artificial grass that we use.

    • Hi Aye and Susan, most of the artificial grass manufacturers will add UV stabilizer warranty for 5-8 years. As In UK there is so little sunshine many grass traders pump up the years, which is understandable.
    • my thoughts exactly

  • Is this an advert, or advice?

    • Hi Tom,

Artificial hedging for both inside and outside is now become more familiar and standard for a number of reasons. One reason being the pressures of the modern lifestyle. There seems to be less and less time to spend on keeping those hard to maintain areas looking good because of the lack of sunlight and water or having to constantly keep weeding. Another reason being commercial uses. For example, Selfridges has artificial products all over the floors at this moment. You cannot ask Selfridges to grow their own flowers before they can display next to a Channel handbag, can you?

No selfridges could use a local florist:-)
        • Hi Richard.

The fact is that Selfridges use artificial products for their displays. Most of the artificial products are imported by UK suppliers.

I'm only joking with you:-) I don't like plastic flowers but I do see that other people do.
They are not for me but each to their own.
I also think they have a very poor environmental pedigree.
Things that grow help our planet plastic is essentially oil which does not help.
I put enough pollution into the sky with my truck!( I do need the truck otherwise I would be out of business.)
So please don't take it the wrong way:-)
