Marshall's Excellent Customer Service

I had a direct to site delivery last Friday of 100m2 of Marshall's 60mm Tegula block paving and by mistake the guys on the yard had put a pack of small Tegula 50mm thick blocks onto the wagon

 

I only realised just before 12am on Monday when we removed the wrapping and banding that they had made this mistake, I made a phone call and by 3pm they had delivered a fresh pack of block paving the correct thickness and took the incorrect pack away

 

The blocks were required today as the driveway is being laid on a semi dry mixture and the bed was already laid when we discovered the problem, to get a delivery onto site approx 25 miles away from the manufacturing plant in less than 3 hours through busy traffic in Manchester is what I would call exceptional customer service

 

Marshall's may be the largest company manufacturing block paving in the UK but always maintain the most efficient service to the Marshall's register members

 

Thanks a lot to everyone at Marshall's especially Kelly Burke for providing this excellent backup when we required it

  • Just to back up Micks comments I have myself received some outstanding customer service last November a direct to site of Tegula & Tegula kerb delivered to Poole, Dorset and they sent external radials instead of Internel radials this was 8.15 am one phone call and Marshalls sent from Sittingbourne, Kent over 100 miles from our site one of their guys in a works vehicle to deliver me my correct kerbs by 12.30 the same day! Unbelievable service. 2 weeks ago we received 32 Sawn Step kits upon Installation 9 were found to be damaged due to incorrect transportation in less than 24hrs we received 9 new step kits by courier from Marshalls delivered direct to my customers property again unbelievable service. Marshalls provide without doubt the best customer service levels out of any company I regularly deal with.

    That's fantastic service Jason and just goes to show what lengths Marshall's go to on a daily basis to get the products out to the customers

    I was privileged to have the guided tour of the Marshall's yards at Halifax where the Marketing Support Unit is based what organise the next day delivery of samples or order select products and the size of that department alone is astounding and absolutely amazing what get produced by theses guys

    as far as I know this level of service is only made available to contractors on the Marshalls register
