Sorry can someone move this into the correct sector, sorry
Andrew, there is quite a bit on LJN regarding Jobber with several members already using it (...and I am sure they will come and contribute to this thread soon..).
I evaluated Jobber earlier this year and was seriously impressed and would like to migrate to it at financial year end. It's interface and facilities encompass many facets of the industry and has been well received in the US. The guys at Jobber appear very receptive and helpful, taking feedback to further improve the product.
I have not seen anything (and I have looked at a lot of solutions...mainly US based) that comes near its features at that cost. It's a no-brainer if you setting up a system for the first and/or you also use QuickBooks accounting.
We are heavily into excellent, desktop based system that unfortunately appears to becoming obsolete, hence the need to look at alternatives (...such as Jobber).
If I had any concern, it would around the fact it is cloud based (and that is not unique to Jobber), so you need a Broadband/3G/4G/WiFi connection to access your data (which is 'effectively' then remote/outside of your direct control). With any Cloud based software, I would ensure you are comfortable your data is secure and can be 'downloaded/exported should your needs change in the future.
Also meant to say it's part of the reason we just got a Tesco Hudl to try this and other software out on as I felt iPads were too expensive to use by my guys.
I use Jobber after Gary recommended it to me, couldn't live without it now.
So simple to use, takes a while getting all your customers in it but once you have that done makes life a breeze.
I think there are loads of other threads where I have talked about it - Here is the links
As Gary has said jobber are very pro active about answering peoples questions, There is a thread or two on here that they have come on and answered peoples questions on this forum too.
If you have any specific questions give me a ring on 0797 626 7104 and i will gladly help you.
If you want to save me a months fee, use this link to use the trail/buy here
Only downfall is that it is 100% cloud based so you cannot access it if you do not have an internet connection.
If only they would design an app.......
Sorry guys, I guess were a bit late to this topic. I will be a lot more active on the site here from now on.
Thank you soo much Gary, Nick and Robbie for nice feedback, appreciate it.
Native App design is in the works right now. We hired a full time developer to focus solely on mobile in February. We do want the app to be able to be used offline and have it push any updates to the cloud when you get back in service.
And it is easy to export your data if needed. We certainly would not want to hold anyones data hostage and make it very easy to people to cancel and leave, even if it does break our hearts.

Hi Landen,
I came across this as I am interested in using Jobber. Is the app available offline now?
Thanks in advance
Mark
Hey Mark!
No offline access for the app in the current version. We have been rebuilding the mobile app with offline in mind. Our current app would not be able to do it so we had to start over with the code and tech we were using.

Hi Landen,
Thanks for getting back to me. That is a shame, I will check again in the future.
Best regards,
Mark
That is so, so good to hear and an 'offline' mode will be welcomed by many. It matches our other well used App; Toodledo :-).
Also, I recognise that you are open about exporting data and again that gives confidence where as some Apps I have seen would worry me...
