I use an etesia pse it's got the old Suzuki two stroke engine. I think there's one on ebay at the moment. No worries of oil starvation, only thing to remember is to cut so the carb is on the upward tilt otherwise the engine can't always drawn in enough fuel.

Hello Graham,
Acacia have both the Etesia Pro 53, which is a pedestrian rotary mower with semi-ag tyre on the back and can be used on slopes up to around 20 degrees, and the 36" Ferris Flail mower which can be used on slopes up to around 15 degrees.
We have them both available for hire if you wanted to try one out to see if it will work on your banks :)

So do you hire nationally Acacia or do you just hope everyone is near you :P
Always hopeful! :P
We do London and S.E. England. It was more for ideas of mowers that might work :)
Steep! You could try a side arm flail mower if they're a bit more reasonably priced than the robot mowers?
Just found these too, could be good?

Etesia Atilla's the SKF/D and the 180 can do steep angles. the 180 can do 50 degrees (or maybe 50% which is 45 degrees I think) but costs about 50k new.
