This is an image showing the existing garden of a large detached property in North Ferriby which I worked on over the inclement winter of 2008-2009. The main feature of the garden was a large circular raised stone pond, the perimeter of which was bordered by a 40 degree undulating grass bank which was very difficult to mow and walk down. The main pond filled a smaller pond via. a chute (which did not work properly) and this in turn fed a long 'rill' which snaked through the main lawn to the back of the garden. During my initial visit to the garden, the Client asked if I could get the rill working again, I suggested getting rid of the rill as it was a major obstruction for the gardener when cutting the grass. The following works all led on from that initial site visit in September 2008.
