This was in theory a very straight-forward project, clear an area overgrown with weeds and construct a paved terrace. However, there was one major problem - the Client lived in London and the job was in Beverley, East Yorkshire. My solution was to produce a simple image (above) showing my proposal and e-mail it to the Client. Monies were transfered electronically and the Client's friend acted as a Clerk Of Works to inspect my workmanship and report back to the Client.The project ran very smoothly and the Client gave me the following 'glowing' reveiw:"I must thank David immensely for the professional manner in which he dealt with the design and construction of a patio at my home in Beverley. As I was not able to be on hand, as I am based in SW London, it was necessary for me to put my complete trust in David and it was well worth it. He swiftly produced the CAD drawings and emailed them to me, the quotation was detailed, and he was able to fit the job in to his schedule within days. He kept me regularly informed of updates by email and at the end of the whole job, sent me photographs. David clearly takes a pride in his work and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I shall certainly have no hesitation in commissioning him again for further work, and whoever reads this can be assured, that they will not be disappointed by the quality of his work which is superb.
