This area was formerly overgrown with self-seeding sycamore, had a 1m high timber 'ranch' fence, and a trampoline placed on the grass (1m high). A large JCB 3CX cleared the site and excavated a circular pit to take the trampoline. A 2m high timber feathered edge fence was erected and stained a nice dark oak colour. A low timber bench was constructed using cut log sections and new railway sleepers. Other cut log sections (saved from trees felled on site) were used to form raised beds around the existing trees. The whole area was re-turfed, planted and mulched after the hard landscape works were complete.
