Hi Peter, thank you for your interest in our project. I have up dated photos to show the finishing stage.
The rainwater will be taken from the roof with an overflow into the plant border below. Patio water overflows out of roof tiles set into wall. - see photo.

How are you going to finished the top, railings or wall?
Is the water harvesting just from water caught on the paved area or off the roof aswell?
Such an obvious way to construct a raised patio, but I've never seen anyone do this. Modular decks could be built like this too with a galvanised steel sub-frame!
