This is an image showing the existing garden of a large detached property in North Ferriby which I worked on over the inclement winter of 2008-2009. The area between two flights of steps was cluttered with a mix of boulders, cobbles and planting. My proposal was to clear the area, make a sleeper retaining wall and use the area as a giant tip to 'loose' all the builder's rubble, turf off-cuts and topsoil generated by other works in the garden.
