This is a rendered image of a garden I designed for a Victorian terraced property in The Avenues area of Hull. The garden was previously very overgrown and had excess amounts of topsoil in mounds. Also the garden was bounded by cheap lap style fencing on all sides which was in danger of falling over and looked unsightly. My design for the garden included changes in level to add interest and accomadate the excess soil and also 2 no. feature timber arches/trellis which added vertical interest and helped brace the existing fences together. These fences were also covered with 2 metre high reed screening to improve their appearance and bounce some sunlight into this North facing garden. I undertook the construction of this garden during Spring 2007 and shall be carrying out further works there during 2008.
