This photo clearly shows the difference that was made to the site, the cutting back of the overhanging tree has allowed much more light into the Scout Group building, as well as making their fire escape route clear.
Village hall users also reported a great difference to the levels of light in the rear part of the main hall after the 15 feet of over grown conifer boughs had been safely removed.
A program of regular hedge maintenance is now in place to maintain the hedge at this height and prevent the issue re-occurring.
