The Stand at Hampton Court 2011

This is a close up of the stand at the show. The theme of the tent was the Living Library of Plants and we got the books made specially. The lavender daylily is North Wind Dancer which has recently been awarded the Stout Medal in the US for excellence. Magic!

    Hello there. That's a really good question. They may be descendants. I don't really know. Dr. Stout was one of the main hybridisers earlier in the 20th century and the award has been in existence since 1950, awarded to the best performer in the US overall each year. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful. I talk via e-mail to quite a few folks in the States but not Dancingtree. Thank you for liking the picture
