Hi Andy
They grow almost anywhere sunny, don't they? I've got them growing in walls and on a shed roof.
Sempervivum is an ideal plant to cope with plonged hot temperatures.
Here's my Sempervivum arachnoideum
...and Sempervivum tectorum
One of my favourite plants, Years ago before I had my business I used to grow a lot of plants, I had a large collection of standard fuchsias which I trained myself and I also went mad on these sempervivums, I had hundreds of them all grown from one original "mother" plant.
A few are still around, I poked some into a stone wall at the manor house where I work and they are growing well.
Brilliant plants.
