    I first took my son to Oradour when he was eight years of age. We went back last July and he spent a lot of time reading the boards in the underground museum: he found it moving and fascinating and he could relate much more to how many French people were persecuted during the occupation.

    Henry plays rugby at Lacapelle Biron - another French village where villagers were murdered (by the same division that carried out the Oradour atrocities??)

    Just been looking at some of your photos.
    Oradur sur Glane, I think every 16 year old would benefit from a visit there, the reality of how an ordinary village with 'every day sort of people' get caught up in war - the actual reality.
