Thanks Philip. The Monpazier local artists exhibits sound great. I am part of an Open Studios scheme here in Wiltshire where artists get together, publish a booklet and map and open up their studios to the public each weekend during July. In Marlborough (my nearest town) there is a newly fledged Artists market one Sunday per month. I have to agree though that many towns in England wouldn't prove to be suitable or safe for such an event.

I thought of you on Saturday. Monpazier is displaying artwork and sculptures of local artists around the bastide town. The have been set up all around the place and some of the styles reminded me of your stunning work.

I could not help feeling though that if the displays were dotted around an English town that they would be vandalised.

I am embarrassed to say that I did not have a camera with me :(
