    The walling does look great and is worth the extra cost but make sure you allow additional costs for laying it as it is a lot harder than brickwork. You will also find depending on how damp the stone is will restrict the height you can build at any one time.

  • Hi Graham i was looking to use the fairstone pitched walling (silver birch) on a job but that was coming in at about £75m2 just for the walling, client is now looking in to using bricks instead to save money, which if I am honest I am seeing alot of.

    Thanks for the comment. Regarding costs. As you are aware this paving has to be laid on a full mortar bed on a concrete base and pointed to give it the strenght.

    From what I can remeber it came in around £150 per sq m.
