    Nice story Karl.

It prompts me to recall a friendship I forged on arrival here in France.

We rented a house near Monpazier and (before Landscape Juice) I had a bit of time on my hands - it was before we bought our house here.

I took Hector (my black Labrador) for a walk in the mornings around 'the loop'. Every day I passed André's house. André was an 85 year old Frenchman who fought as a resistance fighter in the 2nd World War.

At the start of our friendship, we didn't understand each other's language..but we understood each other (if that makes sense?).

One morning, as I passed, André said one word: 'coffee'. from that moment on, we had an really jumbled but mutually fun relationship.

    Isn't life strange?
