  Thanks very much Phil. An example of the the designer & contractor working together. I worked with the designer Susan Rowley to achieve these curved steps and looked at a number of ways to do this. I'll get round to posting more pics of this project.

  Each piece was cut from an oversized board and the profiled on site. Took a lot of head scratching to get them all to the correct radii with the frame below in the right place.

  nice work! is each section made up of curved planks, and  if so, how did you curve them? or is it an optical illusion...?
