  • Phew

For on minute I thought I'd got the installation wrong.

Some times posts are misread as many of us have spoken about and agreed on you really cant beat communication eye to eye.... i suppose in time we'll all understand about the virtual world

keep up the good work Gary
  • Thanks for the question Gary

Whilst on my initial visit I dug three trial holes, one in the centre of the drive, one in the centre of the gradient and one next to the stone walling, filled with water and returned 24 hours later

I see the water has gone and the footings are around 400mm deep

At the lowest point to the drive I installed a 100mm 90 degree fast bend, dug a trench for 100mm pipe with gradient falling back up the drive to the centre where I excavate a square hole 750mm below the pipes invert level, line entirely with terram and with 4 Aquacells 500x500x1000mm soakaways I install them to pre cut hole, that brings the invert level of my falling pipe to 3/4 of the way up the soakaway, creating a large water holding tank dispersing itself naturally following the lie of the land which is not towards the house, at this depth gravity is pulling down

Yes its falling towards the road on the gradiant section however its not falling onto a highway.

have I installed correctly or not ?
