Horse fly, meat-cleaver mouth-parts

Folks who work out doors have probably met these nasty insects. Theyare true flies and unlike mosquitos that gently insert a fine tube forblood sucking, horse flies have two slicing tools that simply cut intoa blood vessel and then they lap up the blood that oozes out.
