Hmmm, having Googled Black Shuck I think you can keep him and I tolerate any number of black adders.

All we have to deal with in Norfolk is Black Shuck and I aint seen him in years!

This is here for Phil - took the shot 2007 - the adder is around this year but appears even blacker - you can't see the zig-zag now.
It was basking on a pile of dried grass.
