Cosmos flowers near Bergerac

Driving into Bergerac just before lunch I noticed this strip of Cosmos growing at the side of a vineyard just out side Bonaguil. With the late warm autumn sun set against the deep blue sky the flowers were extraordinary. Farmers have been given free seed to plant around the region and driving through towns and villages you can see this small strips. Growing at the base are Cornflower and Candytuft but a little overwhelmed by the height and density of the Cosmos.
