  "Potentilla fruticosa 'Floppy Disk' was introduced by Mr. Peter Catt of Liss Forest Nurseries , the breeder of many plant cultivars. Peter is probably best known for the introduction of Choisya ternata "Sundance", a golden sport of Choisya ternata. Liss Forest nursery managed by Peter and Vincent Catt is recognized internationally by the trade as one of the finest production nurseries operated by the best Horticulturalists in Europe."

  Vincent Catt was neighbour back in our bachelor days. Vince bought his house from his Brother Neil and it was delight because there was no lawn at all but the garden (although small) was packed full of plants from Liss Forest Nurseries.
  
  My Brother Dan worked for Tony Salter of Baldwins (Dave Aylieff-Sansom was Tony's manager.

  He also has his name on Penstemon Peter Catt, which presumably also earned him a few bob over the years - not widely grown (only listed by 2 nurseries in RHS plantfinder) but a real cracker - probably the reddest flowers you'll ever see!

  A great example of a Choisya ternata 'Sundance'.
  
  I know the man, Peter Catt, who discovered the tiny sport on the side of Choisya ternata.
  The plant has made Peter very wealthy and famous amongst plant breeders.
