  • Ideally no it shouldn't be butted up to the wall at that level , the customer was aware of this as when the old paving was lifted a solid reinforced concrete pad was found, the customer didn't want to pay for the removal and a new lower sub base installed , we also offered a gravelled strip along the wall but this was refused so we laid as shown with the paving running away from the building
  • It's been a while since I've done any paving, but should the paving be butted up to the wall right at the bottom of those air bricks?
