General Data Protection Regulation
On the 25th May 2018, GDPR comes into force. GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation. This a new data privacy law was adopted by European Parliament in 2016. GDPR is intended to protect the privacy and personal data of European residents. You can check out the official home page of the GDPR at www.eugdpr.org.
These new GDPR rules set guidelines about how your personal data may be collected, used, stored, protected, and shared with others. Personal Data is defined as any information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify a person. It can be anything from a name, a photo, an email address, bank details, posts on social networking websites, or a computer IP address.
Landscape Juice Ltd is subject to the requirements of the GDPR because we process and store data about members who live in the European Union.
As the controller (owner) of the data, it’s our responsibility to make sure that data is being used legally in accordance with GDPR.
At Landscape Juice Ltd, we work with certain trusted partners to enable us to run and maintain the Landscape Juice Network platform, our email newsletter(s) and accounts.
From the 25th May 2018, Landscape Juice Ltd must have your consent to store and process your personal data as well as erase or export data about you upon request.
Storing the bare minimum
To run the Landscape Juice Network membership we have to collect certain information to enable us to provide our service. For premium memberships this includes your business details, your name, your business address, your telephone numbers and your email addresse(s).
To anable us to send out our newsletters we have an opt in process. When you sign up to Landscape Juice Network you are agreeing for us to send out communications. If you require that you do not wish for us to monitor your email, link clicks of tracking then on your request we will disable this within your account.
Your rights
You have the right to know exactly what data of yours is being stored.
You have the right to be forgotten which means that on request, we have a responsibility to erase all of your personal data.
You have the right to receive an export of all of your personal data that is stored.
