A different league, but a price tag to go with it. However, in terms of performance, durability and usage time, I'd say they are probably the best on the market.
Enjoyed having a good play at an Etesia & Dealer demo day (did notice they have some ex-demo kit for sale....)
Initially we've gone for Oregon for a few items to see how they perform/last.
I'm lucky in that the two dealers we use stock the range of Stihl, Oregon, Pellenc, Etesia and Ego plu sone other (that Ican't remember). So comparing and getting service feedback is a great benefit.
Some feedback from an LJN member who has gone almost completely Pellenc and utilises it as a USP:

Good views on the ease of use of the hedge trimmer from Stu as well.

And a little about the H&S benefits:

had a look at battery hand tools at the last BTME and Saltex shows.
Oregon, cheap and cheerful. Good value and simple.
Stihl and Husqy, comparable, good performace, seemed good quality, broad ranges and good value.
Pellenc - didn't get it, kit felt very much overpriced wrt to Stihl/Husqy. Didn't like the quality, some felt very flimsy.
Spoke to a dealer on the quiet, and they echoed my thoughts.
If my money, I'd put it into a backpack battery and tools. Probably Husqy edges on features/performace, but Stihl on local support and therefore real world uptime.
stihl is good because if it breaks your local dealer is obliged to deal with it whether you bought it from them or not
Strange isn't it how dealers influence our choices.
Stihl was not recommended to us. Husky not looked at...(mainly due to lack of local dealers)...Pellenc highly recommened by those using them and a Dealer.... Oregon offered as a good compromise, hence our choice and to date they've been a good....
My guys, time and wallet will tell...:)
One things for sure ... whatever is the right choice now, probably won't be in 'n' years time
I always thought dealers just recommended the one they could make the most profit from or is that being a bit unfair?:)
If that's your view and experience, then you've picked the wrong Dealer - big time.
