They can start to picture their own garden furniture on the patio, their children playing on the lawn, the journey to work in the home office, or simply grabbing a quick five minutes to themselves.

As well as a selling tool, 3D garden design helps to manage your clients' expectations - and we all know how important that is! When they start squeaking (usually around the time of the final payment) - you can refer back to the 3D design, and show them that you have built the specified garden.

Not all of our clients opt for 3D garden design - some ask for the rendering once the client has agreed the build quote.

Click on this link to learn more about 3D Garden Design

ANP Services Spalding expands coverage of garden and grounds maintenance services into Bourne, Baston and Morton...https://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profiles/blogs/anp-services-spalding-expands-coverage-of-garden-and-grounds2014-02-12T16:58:38.000Z2014-02-12T16:58:38.000ZAdam Pilgrimhttps://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profil/AdamPilgrim

ANP Services Spalding are well known throughout the Spalding area and due to demand, we are happy to announce we have now extended our coverage into the Bourne, Baston and Morton regions too.

We have had several requests for works throughout this region and indeed have worked on several high profile sites in the area throughout 2013.

So if you are looking for a reputable, reliable gardening service to look after your garden or grounds, why not contact us for a free, no obligation quotation?

We offer all general gardening services, such as lawn mowing, hedge trimming and garden waste disposal as well as specialized lawn care and weed control services.

More details on our website: wwww.anpservicesspalding.com

Local Gritting Services Available This Winter from National Contractorhttps://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profiles/blogs/local-gritting-services-available-this-winter-from-national2013-10-17T09:26:16.000Z2013-10-17T09:26:16.000ZFusion Mediahttps://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profil/FusionMedia

Complete Ice Control is brought to you by the same people who deliver Complete Weed Control and has been introduced in response to the overwhelming need for a professional, reliable and trusted local gritting service to deal with snow and ice worries using the best tools and technology available.

If you run a fleet of vehicles from a central depot, or from several depots up and down the country, what is the cost to your business if your vehicles cannot get out of the yard and on to the main road network?

If your fleet cannot get out on the road, then your business grinds to a halt. Even worse, if penalty clauses apply for late or missed deliveries, then not only are you paying the wages of those who can’t go anywhere, letting your customers down, you may actually have to fork out money on penalties.

None of this is good for business.

But, in Britain’s ever doubtful winters, what can you do about these problems? If you wake up one morning and nothing can get out on the road because your yard and access roads are iced-up and snowed over, what can be done? Complete Ice Control has the solution.

Complete Ice Control is a private snow clearance and gritting operation with full national coverage. They specialise in making sure that essential private access areas are kept open through the worst of winter’s storms. They will get your trucks back on the road.

Call Complete Ice Control and they will get to your stricken vehicles and clear and grit the area to get your fleet out on the road; though you must consider that, after a cold, cold night, they are likely to be pretty busy. That’s why Complete Ice Control has a much better solution for you to consider.

Complete Ice Control subscribe to the MET Office Open-road weather forecast system, which gives them access to site-specific forecasts for each 24hr period. Also, Complete Ice Control pre-allocates stocks of salt specifically for customers’ sites and adds their locations to the forecasting system. They know when their customers are likely to have problems and can get out there before the weather hits.

The most effective way of making sure ice and snow do not form an un-navigable sheet across any area is to pre-treat it with salt or brine. Using only pure, white, solar salt, which leaves no residue and is much more effective than standard rock-salt, the Complete Ice Control team can treat your ground before the ice forms, and keep your fleet on the move. They can also get the ploughs in to shift the snow when the fall is particularly heavy.

As well as keeping your business running, they can also keep your personnel safe. Employers have a duty of care of everyone on their premises, and a bad fall on un-cleared ice could cost tens of thousands of pounds in compensation.

So here is what Complete Ice Control offers. If you call them when your vehicles are stuck, they will come to your rescue as soon as they can. If you call them now however, they will keep an eye on the weather, and come to your rescue before your vehicles get stuck. And they will keep your staff safe too.

This winter, let Complete Ice Control worry about the weather for you. They will keep your show on the road.

For more information, please contact Complete Ice Control’s National office on 01325 324 277 or visit www.completeicecontrol.co.uk. We also planted a line of raspberries as personally I really enjoy the flavour of them as well as a few strawberries.

Now having filled some of the ground up with fruit the rest will be used for vegetable production, today we tried planting some solent white garlic bulbs which is a first for us, we have grown onions in the past but never garlic, we also tried some elephant garlic as well to compare what one we prefer if we are able to grow them well. Its amazing how many cloves you can get off one bulb and if they all come off we won't have to buy any.

Next week we are planning to sow some broad beans and plant some shallots depending on weather conditions.

More next week.....

http://www.busybeegardenservices.co.uk

http://www.busybeelawncare.co.uk

How hiring a garden maintenance professional could potentially SAVE you 140 hours or more per year.....https://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profiles/blogs/how-hiring-a-garden-maintenance-professional-could-potentially2012-02-14T20:30:00.000Z2012-02-14T20:30:00.000ZAdam Pilgrimhttps://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profil/AdamPilgrim

Some people will read the title of this blog and think HOW can hiring a professional gardener or maintenance person to maintain my garden actually SAVE me this much time?

Here's how:

Lets assume that your average sized garden currently takes you 2.5 hours per week to maintain.

This breaks down to:

An hour to mow and edge the lawn,

An hour to tidy the borders or collect up fallen leaves depending on the season,

Half an hour to carry out other general garden chores.

However, lets not forget:

On top of this, we also have to consider the time that it takes you to collect up your garden waste and take it to the local tip,

lets assume it takes another hour to load your car, drive there and queue to empty your waste -

then when you get home there's also the time that it takes to clean the inside of your car of garden debris afterwards, lets say another half an hour...

Therefore, each week when worked out this way, is actually taking you FOUR hours per week to maintain your garden!

Assuming you maintain your garden, cut your lawn and take your waste to the tip 35 weeks a year, annually you are spending anywhere up to 140 hours per year to keep your garden looking good!

Wouldn't it be nice to have those 140 hours per year to do other things?

If you live within a 7 mile radius of the Spalding, Lincolnshire area, ANP Services Spalding can save you AT LEAST this much time every year!

Our professional garden maintenance service can be scheduled to attend your property at prearranged weekly or fortnightly intervals, carry out all necessary works, remove all the garden waste and leave your garden looking at its best so all you have to do is to relax and enjoy it!

For your peace of mind, we are FULLY insured and licensed waste carriers, we also provide free, no obligation quotations and in most instances can offer a fixed price for any works...

For full details on what we can do for you:

See our website

www.anpservicesspalding.com

email us at

anpservicesspalding@yahoo.co.uk

or phone us today

07745 247488 or 01775 830250

Jasminum nudiflorum or Winter Jasmine by Busy Bee Garden Serviceshttps://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profiles/blogs/jasminum-nudiflorum-or-winter-jasmine-by-busy-bee-garden-services2012-02-12T10:14:59.000Z2012-02-12T10:14:59.000ZBusy Bee Garden Services Limitedhttps://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profil/BusyBeeGardenServicesLimited

This week has been a snowy one with winter finally hitting us and the business with a couple of days forced off and it totally changes the look of the garden with everything covered with snow, with every garden be it well kept or unkempt looking the same finding a plant of the week was going to be a problem.

The plant we noticed this week maybe because it was shown off better against the white background of the snow was Jasminum nudiflorum with its bright yellow flowers offering some winter cheer especially against a wall at the back of a border. Its a native to China and we find pruning after flowering helps to fill in bare patches, thicken the plant up and hence offer more flowers in the following flowering season. It also has a long flowering season, ours in our back garden started to flower in October this year and does not stop till March.

We have them in many of our small and large gardens and to be quite honest they seem to cope with many situations, from poor stony soil we find in Liphook, clay soil found in sunningdale to our rubbish sandy soil in Farnborough, the ones that do better have a little bit more sun.

This week we even managed to take a picture of one that has been planted fr 2 years now and hopefully the week is better witht he melt likely.

The newly sign written Ayegardening van.https://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profiles/blogs/the-newly-sign-written-ayegardening-van2011-10-27T07:45:57.000Z2011-10-27T07:45:57.000ZAyegardening Ltd - Aye and Susanhttps://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profil/AyegardeningLtdAyeandSusan

The newly sign written Ayegardening van.
Ayegardening is really excited to announce that our new van is ready to go - newly sign written - watch out for it around Crawley, Horsham and Dorking areas.

 Ayegardening

Ayegardening is a friendly, reliable, hard working family gardening business serving Crawley, Horsham and Dorking areas but also spanning across Surrey and West Sussex.

Our services in the Crawley, Dorking and Horsham areas include garden clearance; lawn mowing; hedge cutting; large grounds mowing; regular garden maintenance; domestic and commercial grounds maintenance; garden tidying; turfing; pressure washing and snow clearance.

We deliver a quality gardening service. We are equally capable of cutting a carefully manicured lawn and helping you with a regime of lawn treatments, lawn fertilizer applications and spring or autumn lawn scarifying to keep it at its very best or regularly cutting larger area of longer, rougher grass around commercial sites. We have a small fleet of different mowers to help us give the best possible finish, whatever the area.

For the majority of domestic and some 'premium' commercial lawns, we use roller mowers to leave a high quality, classically striped lawn. For other commercial contracts, for example pub beer gardens/restaurants and other small commercial lawns that we cut regularly, we use a mulching mower. This helps us provide a cost effective service as there are no lawn clippings to dispose of. This machine can be quickly converted to collect, as in the autumn or winter lawns may become covered with leaves, which cannot be mulched.

We also have ride on mowers suitable to collect, mulch or discharge clippings - offering a variety of options for our commercial clients and domestic customers who have a larger property.

But we don't just do grass cutting - we also carry out professional hedge trimming and hedge reductions too. Indeed many hedges have been proved to benefit from being cut regularly, we recommend twice yearly cuts to leylandii and beech hedges (dependent on the speed of growth). Regular cutting not only keeps the hedge under control but also promotes vigorous, healthy growth and prevent the hedge looking sparse and 'thin'.

Many customers are thankful of the fact that as part of our service package, we remove all green and garden waste from their properties, taking it for composting at Organic Recycling in Crowland. For more details on how they help us deal with our waste in an environmentally friendly way, see their website at: www.organicrecycling.co.uk

Our association with Organic Recycling also means that we can offer our customers their range of quality soil improvers, marketed under the name Bettaland Products. See www.bettaland.co.uk for details. We have achieved good results with these products in breaking up the heavy, clay soil which some areas of Spalding suffer with.

As we work a relatively small geographical area, we are able to provide a highly cost domestic garden and commercial grounds maintenance effective service, without compromising on quality. We offer regular services to all areas around Spalding, including Moulton, Weston, Pinchbeck (Including Pinchbeck West), Gosberton (including Clough and Risegate), Pode Hole, Spalding and others besides.

Fixed price services help you budget for the works, whilst we offer a choice of payment systems to help make payment simple. We accept cheques, cash, standing orders and BACS payment to suit your needs and operate 30 day payment system with our commercial clients.

Whatever your requirements, call us to arrange a free, no obligation quotation.

Phone: 07745 247488

Email: anpservicesspalding@yahoo.co.uk

Find us on the Internet: www.anpservicesspalding.com

Landscaping Liverpool - The Importance Of Customer Testimonialshttps://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profiles/blogs/landscaping-liverpool-the-importance-of-customer-testimonials2011-09-20T09:00:00.000Z2011-09-20T09:00:00.000ZAbel Landscaping (Liverpool)https://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profil/abellandscaping

Customer Testimonials - Success Story Part One

Here at Abel Landscaping we believe good customer service is key to running a successful business. Most, if not all lawns were showing signs of stress, with patchy, uneven growth, die back and yellow patches, weeds and other unsightly problems.

Some people have not even had to carry out any lawn mowing for several weeks due to the severely dry conditions..

So you may ask, 'what should I do, I want a greener lawn - at the minute, its brown and dead and patchy and looks a bit like this:'

ANP Services Spalding can offer a solution to most lawncare problems - due to the three month drought, we delayed applications of lawn fertiliser and feed/weed and moss kill products. However now the grass has received some rain water, it is the ideal time to contact ANP Services Spalding to arrange application of lawn fertiliser or other lawn treatment products.

WHAT WE DO:

We do use almost exclusively SHL trade products, as we consider them to be both effective and competitively priced. We have achieved consistently high quality results with both the lawn sand, Spring and Summer fertiliser and Feed, Weed and Mosskiller products from this company.

We advise do you, on the best course of action for your lawn - from dealing with excessive lawn moss in Moulton, weed problems in Pinchbeck or scarifying in Surfleet we are sure to have a service and product to suit your lawn.

We do cure the problem, not just remove it - if you have a severely mossy lawn then we will treat the moss with either sulphate of iron or lawn sand dependent on severity. It is VERY important to do this before scarifying as otherwise the moss is spread about and will return far worse. Sulphate of iron and lawn sand kill moss so it cannot regrow.

We apply products AND scarify in BOTH directions to ensure both complete application of product and removal of all lawn moss/debris. Beware some lawn care companies don't do this.

We remove all arisings (grass clippings, moss etc) - we can do this as we are a licensed waste carrier. Some companies will not remove waste...

WHAT WE DON'T DO:

We don't tie you into a minimum length contract - if you want one treatment, that's all we will supply, if you wish to go further, then we will happily any required further treatments and/or professional mowing services.

We don't supply or apply unsuitable products, at unsuitable times or carry out works such as scarifying at incorrect times of year.

Whatever your lawn care needs, from regular professional mowing to lawn weed control, to scarifying or applying lawn fertilizer for a greener, healthier lawn, ANP Services Spalding can help.

In order to keep our prices affordable and ensure customer satisfaction, we operate within a 15 mile radius of our base in Spalding, Lincs - we cover Spalding, Gosberton, Moulton, Weston, Pinchbeck, West Pinchbeck, Pode Hole and many other areas..

For more info:

email: anpservicesspalding@yahoo.co.uk

Website: www.anpservicesspalding.com

Why £20 Per Hour is Cheaper Than £8 Per Hourhttps://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profiles/blogs/why-l20-per-hour-is-cheaper2010-07-24T20:00:00.000Z2010-07-24T20:00:00.000ZCesare Harradinehttps://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profil/CesareHarradine

Most professional gardeners do not charge by the hour. Instead they will discuss with you what you want from your garden and assess the maintenance requirements. You will then get an annual price, divided in to monthly instalments.

However, for the purposes of this discussion, let us assume that a professional gardener has a rate of £20 per hour in mind when quoting, and compare that with the odd jobber/handyman who charges £8 per hour.

1) The professional will supply all his/her own tools.
The odd- jobber will use your tools. You will have to supply them, service
them, make sure they are safe to use (you will be liable if an injury is sustained, because of a
faulty tool) and you will have to replace them if they break.

2) Professional tools are much more efficient and will do the job much quicker.
Your tools, though adequate for domestic gardens, are slow in comparison. Are you really
going to pay upwards of £600 for a mower that will only get used for an hour a week?

3) A professional will supply all the pesticides and fertilizers needed.
With an odd-jobber, you will have to supply and store any chemicals that are needed.

4) The professional will be qualified to use pesticides safely.
An odd-jobber, most likely, will not be qualified and it is illegal for an unqualified person to
use pesticides for hire or reward.

5) A professional will be able to take the waste away.
The odd-jobber will leave it for you to deal with.

6) A professional will have insurance.
An odd jobber may not. Who is going to pay if a stone goes through a £500 patio door, or
worst still, some body’s eye.

7) A professional will know what are weeds, what to prune, how to prune and when to prune.
An odd jobber may have some basic knowledge, but not enough to get the best out of your
garden.

When you add up the expense and aggravation of all these intangibles, £20 per hour starts to look quite reasonable indeed.
