Don't want to steal anyone's thunder. Must have been a pretty daunting task on that scale though!

http://www.buildersmerchantsjournal.net/products/product.asp?id=1236&title=Bound+at+the+Bush.

Will be interested to find how it wears over the forthcoming years.

Our main business is Resin Bonded resurfacing as we aim to resurface existing surfaces such as tarmac and concrete - no mess, no disruption (well minimal anyway) and basically if the surface is structurally sound why have it dug up? Also with the Resin Bonded because it prevents the ingress of water, weeds and moss are unable to penetrate and therefore unable to get a hold on the surface. We are always interested in the current use of Resin. It was used quite extensively for the 2012 Olympic stadium. Both Resin Bonded and Resin Bound are becoming increasingly popular so keep your eyes open for a project near you!

We have just been working on a project in Kirkby in Ashfield Notts and this afternoon our client rang to say WOW! They had been working in the back of the house. Our lads had been out this morning and laid the Resin Bonded Surfacing. They still have to brush it off but our client is impressed with the "carpet" we have laid.

This new Resin Bonded Surface will protect the tarmac from frost and will give our client a anti slip durable surface.

Laying Permeable Paving in the Wethttps://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profiles/blogs/laying-permeable-paving-in-the-wet2012-10-23T12:29:30.000Z2012-10-23T12:29:30.000ZSureSet Resin Systemshttps://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profil/SureSet

We often hear from various sources, claims of resin bound systems that can be laid in the rain with no ill effects on the performance of the material. We ourselves have investigated various resin chemistries which claim to be tolerant of wetter conditions upon laying, but this tends to be a matter of degree and we are talking about slightly damp rather than a full on drenching.

Common sense would tend to tell us that, apart from the detrimental effects that the combination of the presence of water and often cooler temperatures have on the curing of resin systems, it is extremely doubtful that effective bonding can be made to a substrate or aggregates which are covered by a film of water. Even resin systems dispersed in water will suffer as a result of dilution and delayed curing. We are not aware of any practical system that can be used successfully, regardless of the weather.

The reality is that in our climate a practical and economic resin bound system which is completely water tolerant, will bond to wet surfaces and will match the performance of current systems is very much like the quest for the Holy Grail, but we keep on looking!

Resin bound surfacing and the urban landscapehttps://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profiles/blogs/resin-bound-surfacing-and-the-urban-landscape2011-10-12T18:23:04.000Z2011-10-12T18:23:04.000ZPeak surfacing ltd.https://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profil/Peaksurfacingltd

For many years resin bound surfacing has been the choice for historic sites and country houses ,because of its hard wearing nature, its lack of loose stones and its distinctive gravel texture.

It is now making its mark in the urban landscape,as councils ,schools and public bodies are tightening their spending belts, resin surfacing is becomming more popular, its maintenace friendly nature and the fact that mechanical sweepers can keep it clean appeals to specifiers and decision makers.

Resin bound surfacing is a mixture of dried gravel and normally polyurethane binders ,blended together and hand trowled to a smooth anti slip surface, which can be laid ontop of existing concrete or tarmac substrates.

In the urban environment typical examples can be seen on domestic driveways, around tree pits, pedestrian shopping areas, courtyards and carparks.

peak surfacing supply and install a fully specified surface,[please contact us for further details}

New Network of resin surfacing contractors UK widehttps://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profiles/blogs/new-network-of-resin-surfacing2011-01-07T18:30:00.000Z2011-01-07T18:30:00.000ZPeak surfacing ltd.https://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profil/Peaksurfacingltd

As the market place for resin surfacing grows, more architects specifiers, landscape designers and achitects, builders and domestic householders are rethinking there ideas on decorative surfaces.

Resin bonded and bound surfacings are popular because of their decorative nature, ease of installation compared to traditional paving,no messy excavtions, the look of gravel without the loose stones and ease of maintenace.A easy bolt service for your existing business.

With the increase in enquiries and quotations throughout the uk we are looking to set up a network of approved contractors to do the work.

Further enquiires about the network or to register your interest contact resinsurfacingquotes@gmail.com

How to stablelise your gravel drivewayshttps://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profiles/blogs/how-to-stablelise-your-gravel2010-10-27T16:07:23.000Z2010-10-27T16:07:23.000ZPeak surfacing ltd.https://landscapejuicenetwork.com/profil/Peaksurfacingltd

SUDs legislation has lead to a increase in options for permeable paving when taking up your garden to add extra parking spaces or make it maintenace free.
Block paving -laid on a screed of gritsand is many peoples favourite method-but the sand washes away and the joints fill with atmospheric pollution causing weeds and moss regrowth.
Stabilised gravel is becomming popular because of its decorative nature, ease of installation and maintenace. The ground is prepared in the conviential way,a grid of hexagonal cells made from polypropylene with a geotextle base to prevent weed growth is interlocked together and the gravel is added. The grid prevents sinking, migration and rutting associated with loose gravel.

If stabilised gravel doesnt appeal, resin bound aggregates are the answer, gravel mixed with a clear polyurethane binder is trowled smooth to form a seamless surface which allows the water to percolate into the ground.
For a free no obligation quotation contact Peak surfacing on 01142 299865
