Attendees were then delivered a presentation on the advances in technology, a sneak preview of the new products which will be launched ahead of 2018, followed by a tour of the impressive, state-of-the-art factory.</p><p>A hearty lunch complimented by some delightful local wine ensued as the group had time to muse on the Etesia experience before being given the opportunity to get hands on with some of Etesia’s machinery outside.</p><p>The day was rounded off with an evening visit to the luxurious Royal Palace, Kirrwiller, which saw everyone enjoy live music, acrobats, and other enchanting entertainment.</p><p>The last day began with a tour around the picturesque town of Wissembourg with a private guide before meeting the town’s Mayor for a greater insight into what Etesia offers the local area in terms of employment and export.</p><p>The trip was concluded with a visit to Maginot Line - a line of concrete fortifications, obstacles, and weapon installations built by France in the 1930s to deter invasion by Germany and force them to move around the fortifications, which was constructed on the French side of its borders with Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and Luxembourg.</p><p>At the end of the visit Les Malin, operations director of Etesia UK, thanked everyone for attending: "We are very proud of the work we do in the UK with our dealers and of our facilities in France. For me that says a lot.”</p><p>Mowers UK, a division of Acacia Groundcare Equipment Rental Limited, is a leading retailer of garden, forestry and arboriculture machinery in North Hampshire and director Ritain Patel highlighted his reasons for wanting to work with Etesia: “Mowers UK is currently geared slightly more towards the domestic market so we wanted to enhance our commercial offering. We’ve always stocked Etesia machinery through our hire fleet and we wanted to be in a position where we could sell the products. I brought the subject up with other members of management and everyone was extremely keen to bring Etesia on-board. We know the value, the quality of the machines and we know how strong they are in the commercial market.”</p><p>Blakewell Services’ managing director Richard Tanton, started the business back in 1971 when he began servicing used tractors and machinery. He continued to build up the business over the years and soon out grew the premises at Blakewell Farm. Both Russell and Jason are trained mechanics and the family-run business will also be benefitted by Russell’s previous experience of dealing with Etesia.</p><p>“I’ve been dealing with Etesia for the past 20 years now and I used to sell the very first Hydro 100’s, which became the industry trend setter. That has continued over the years with everyone else copying various Etesia models.<br/>“When we first set-up the company I was adamant that I wanted to be able to offer them to our customer base. A lot of our customers have dated machines, 10 or 15 years old now, so I’m hoping to convince them that they should be replaced with Etesia machines! They certainly won’t regret it,” said Russell.</p><p>Allans of Gillock will be covering the expansive area of Northern Scotland, offering Etesia machines to customers as far as the Orkney and Shetland Islands. The company, which has built a great reputation since being founded in 1980, believe that becoming an Etesia dealer is a step in the right direction.</p><p>“Up until now it is fair to say that we have mainly catered for the domestic market but we are looking to reach more into the commercial side of things. We wanted to have a slightly more upmarket range of machines available and this is where Etesia comes in.
