The new lawn was picked up on Saturday from the UK offices of Namgrass and we commenced the install yesterday.<p style="text-align: left;"><img width="721" src="http://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/3314170212?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024" alt=""/></p>As you can appreciate the client having two dogs and small children found it impossible to have a lawn, it was re-turfed a number of times over the last few years and that they have now given up on having a lawn!<p style="text-align: left;"><img width="721" src="http://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/3314173178?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024" alt=""/></p>We arrived at the clients premises for 9AM and unloaded the artificial lawn before heading off to Jewsons to pick up the materials for the sub base.<p style="text-align: left;"><img width="721" src="http://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/3314181630?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024" alt=""/></p>By 10AM we had cleared the old lawn (area approx. 52m2) and the first geotextile weed membrane laid, followed by the MOT1 sub base which was compacted with a wacker plate and blinded off with a thin layer of sharp sand. The top level of geotextile weed membrane was laid followed by the artificial lawn.<p style="text-align: left;"><img width="721" src="http://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/3314180258?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024" alt=""/></p>The lawn was roughtly cut into position and left to settle in the sun.<p style="text-align: left;"><img width="721" src="http://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/3314182128?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024" alt=""/></p>It was decided that it would be best to leave the lawn to "settle" and allow the creases to flatten out and returned at 11:30AM today to complete the installation.The two pieces of lawn were butted up and glued followed by final trimming of the edges.<p style="text-align: left;"><img width="721" src="http://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/3314177401?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024" alt=""/></p><p style="text-align: left;"><img width="721" src="http://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/3314179074?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024" alt=""/></p><p style="text-align: left;"><img width="721" src="http://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/3314176685?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024" alt=""/></p>Client was happy so was the dogs! The clients couldn't believe the transformation and commented how much bigger the garden looked.Job done and off to mow some real lawns.</div>
