The design is based on using solid, clean wood with a lot of detailing on the front and rear as it is freestanding. I'm undecided upon which wood to use yet as costs could be significant. The look I want though is polished and modern. It's a bit tricky to supply the design as it is confidential to the client. Sorry to be vague.
I have often chatted to Dave King at the various shows. I don't think his skills are in doubt, though i'm no expert - mainly chainsaw carving though, not sure if this is suitable. Generally his items are neatly finished, polished etc. Some of them are huge.
