  • I'm ashamed to say i don't do a great deal in my spare time. I'm on the computer a lot because the females in the house outnumber me 4 to 1, the telly is something i never get control of, so instead of deadening my brain with Glee or America's Next Top Model i'm on here, i'm listening to music with the headphones on, I'm buying stuff on e-bay which i really shouldn't do, and i'm more often than not partaking in a beveridge (carlsberg, kronenbourg or guiness),

My pub days are over, although sometimes me and the missus sneak off to a quiet pub in the next village,

I don't work sundays so we do try to go out somewhere for the day as a family,

Pretty boring, but i like it.

  • Walking, Offroad mountain biking, Grow Veg down the allotment (I specialise in edible 8ft bramble-stalks), and plenty of sleeping!

  • Winter - sea fishing, kayaking and skiing. Tried surfing recently and loved it so maybe more of that.

Summer - what free time? Eating out and fancy cooking mainly. Summer is all about fuelling the stove to keep the machine running!

  • Surfing as much as possible! Its great working like a hound in summer when its flat anyway but then having time off in winter when the surf is better. WIN WIN

  • I used to race 70.3 but it took so much time & energy i think ive worn myself out! Ashamed to say ive been unactive for 3yrs now put on 12kgs got to find something else to do apart from work, work, work. Spend my spare time just watching telly or going online pretty sad really.

7-a-side footy, tennis for local team, running (local 'Park Run' on Saturdays) and the new allotment keep me busy. Hoping to do more of these now that work is quieter especially the allotment.

I get enough exercise at work and dont personally see the need to do any more. Another thing - i work outside, my wife works indoors. In the summer i run for shade every chance i get whereas my wife wants to be in the sun. It was the same when i used to go to the pub - all the office workers sat outside whilst the outdoor workers were sat inside!

  • How funny, it's exactly the same with me - I also love rainy weekends, which doesnt go down too well at home!

Saturdays in summer I play cricket, but age is catching up with me. Other times its football, I watch Southend United or Southend Manor, where I am Treasurer - dont suppose anyone noticed we got to the 4th Qualifying Round of the FA Cup this year and were the smallest club left in I believe, having come through 5 previous rounds.

  • I dont do a lot to be honest.

We have a zoo of animals ranging from dogs to snakes to scorpions so a lot of my tame is taken with them.

Catching up with paper work and reading.

  • In no particular order: go to gym 4 or 5 times a week, play videogames, have sex, watch movies, go cycling/running, listen to music on spotify and last but not least...go on LJN.
