Stihl parts diagrams

For those of you that do your own maintenance, I stumbled across this PDF file: http://www.motoculture-jardin.com/forum/upload/_other/1247205092_HS81R.HS81T.HS86R.HS86T.pdf

which shows "exploded" diagrams for the Stihl HS81/86 hedgecutters which I found very handy....... has all the part numbers too.

  • Hi Geoff, Thanks for uploading this. I don't personally have this make or model but these diagrams are invaluable to those that do. It actually made me think that it might be beneficial if the site had a database of such diagrams and information. Could be a revenue spinner for Phil. Might also work hand in hand with a listing of local dealers / tool mechanics. I bet a few tool mechanics would pay a few pounds to be put in front of their main source of their income. What do you think Phil?
  • Perhaps Phil, when he's recovered from his ailments, might be able to set up a section then, where people can download useful data etc.....I understand he loves playing with the website lol!  I'm sure a lot of people wouuld find it really handy.
Some manufacturers,Honda for one I believe, can be a bit stroppy though if their parts microfiches are available to the "general public" ...... they seem to just like the dealers to have access.
Personally, I find parts diagrams incredibly useful, particularly when you take something apart and can't quite remember which way something went back together again!!!
