Hi everyone

My business now requires a more powerful software system to run the business - scheduling, invoicing, GPS etc.  I have signed up to Real Greens system at the moment and finding it very very complicated and I think I will only use 10% of what it has on it.  Is anyone using  a system that they have found to be easy to start and use and that is cloud based and uses tablets for the work force, which automatically updates the office computer when they start and finish the jobs?

Cheers Dave

Be interested to know the rough upfront and ongoing costs of RG, very little info on the net.

That's a question you need to definitely ask and get a very clear, open and documented answer.

We looked and decided it was not for us many many years ago. The US website is vague regarding costs when compared to competitor products.

RG moved to a monthly subscription model for the cloud based platform a couple of years ago.

If you're multivan, multi stop services, then it's really effective once set-up and you've gone through the learning curve. The map based scheduling / route optimisation is very good and gives me great efficiency gains in my time and technician utilisation.

For smaller numbers of customers (say sub 250), then it may be overkill.

How is the monthly cost calculated and is it available on their web site now ?

We use Jobber and run iPads in each van. It works of a web browser so is "live" on every device.

We've used it for around 4 years and find it easy to use and train staff on.
