Hard to tell if this is staged or there is a real audience but there are voices from the direction of the audience raising questions which are answered briefly then put to bed until next time .

The content of the discussion isn't bad at all if you have the time to watch this clip It does raise awareness to those customers who spend a Hundred Grand on having their gardens re designed especially to be careful who they employ to carry out the after care as they may not find that calibre of professional service by clicking on a gardening app .

I agree qualifications are not enough on their own without experience and also qualifications can be falsified but the suggestion of creating little portfolio's to hand potential customers can be equally abused and even more so in my opinion it's very easy to take a snapshot of a completed project and claim the glory .

Interesting discussion but it doesn't offer any real solutions its the usual chicken or the egg and i am not sure what the £120 annual fee buys you .  Does it lead to some industry credibility i havn't checked it out .

I watched it in the late evening yesterday instead of going to bed, I should have gone to bed.

Surely a significant garden design should include a maintenance schedule as a matter of course?

Most will include at least 12 months aftercare - at least local designers I have worked ensure the planting 'takes' then leave a basic maintenance schedule for the customer
