Ride on mower

Hi,Just wondering how good a rode on mower is to use in wet weather?I've been offered a job using the clients ride on, but not 100% sure if it should be used on a wet surface or in rain? I'm in Scotland so this is a big issue during the summer!CheersSteven

What is it? Most are kinda useless in the rain and not a lot better in the dry.
    • It's a brand new John deere not sure what model exactly
      • I've got a JD X305r and fantastic in the dry and utterly useless in the wet

Is it a side discharge with a long tube to some collector boxes or a direct rear discharge? I appreciate you might not know now. But I find the side discharges are only good on short grass and struggle even with leaves, but they are fantastic mulchers (I use an X304 every week at a property)

Ask the client if they use it in the wet and if so how it performs.

Haha, the client will tell you it's great, mainly because they usually have nothing to compare it too, and believe everything their local machinery salesman/women tells them... haha
