  • You may want to run a spell check on all the text. e.g. 'lifes' s/b lives?
Personally I would use 'happy to undertake' instead of 'may consider one off lawns'.
Otherwise a nice little site - all the best with it fella.
  • you can not read the yellow text mate ,and a spell check would be a good move
    regards chris

    Hi Alan

Further to what others have said...

The feint text could be construed as trying to trick the search (although I don't think you've tried to hide the words intentionally) engines as it is not readily definable on the page. I think you have overused the word Cumbernauld a little :-0))

Try writing a block of text in visible type explaining what you do and the services you offer - maybe as a list?
If you centre the text in the middle of the lower section it can become search engine friendly and work in your favour.

I like the clear layout of the page...looks good:)

Looks good. I like that you can clearly see what you do from your home page. The only thing is I'd lose the link through to Google on the about page. You don't want to encourage your customers to search elsewhere on the web.

    all the best

  • Hi Alan,
well done for realising that you need a website, and getting on with it, - those are the first main steps, - all the points mentioned by others are good, i'd however add that you could benefit with a professional photo being taken of you. A headshot taken by a proper photographer with a striped lawn / garden in the background will make you look worth a lot more money. You should expect to pay £40 - £100, but if this gets you business it can be well worth it, - people buy from people, not websites.
  • I know..but if they want to find you they will..thats the mind set.

I wouldnt put your full home adress on if you keep your equipment there, it is too easy for pikeys to look you up and visit.

    Otherwise looks good.
  • You don't like my lovely pic of myself..come on!!! lol.. no i need something a little better..all i could find that i have on file..have some stuff that i'm all suited and booted..but look more like a salesman.
