Bank Holidays - are you working?

For ourselves Good Friday, Easter Monday, May Day are normally working days, so we are open as usual.

This year, we have a spanner in the works for that over-hyped wedding, resulting in a 3 day week.  However, we will be open, and working as normal.

What about you?

I dont count the 29th and am most definately working it. TBH I prefer to work bank hollidays as everywere is so busy that they are not enjoyable as days off.

  • Well that's the english, manx, scots, and welsh working, anyone from ireland here?

For us it's easy, don't do god so that's easter gone, don't do royalty so that's the wedding out.

A little hacked off about International Workers Day, but hey in life you have to make choices, and plants need watering at that time of year.

  • I'm having all the bank holidays off as a reward for working at least 10 hours a day every day for the last 5 weeks!! A lot of my work is commercial contracts on public property so by law (around here) you can't work bank holidays anyway so I'm treating it like a mini holiday!
  • You work Christmas then do you?
