  I've missed the first bit but heard the commentary from the bathroom and caught some of the 'secret filming'.
  
  There's no doubt that the turf product is not at a standard fit for purpose but I wish the BBC would stop trying to be experts on things they know nothing about.
  
  Turf grown on a slope is not a reason for uneven turf (the picture they showed hardly constituted a slope) and just because the Ford tractor and turf harvesting rig they showed was old it doesn't mean it cannot form the task it was manufactured to carry out.
  
  I'm not defending Midlands Turf BTW.

  I was shocked! I have removed turf from gardens for not being good enough that was better than his premium turf. Both of my local turf companies use turf cutters like his and their turf is loads better than his! I guess only the big national turf companies can afford the huge modern turf cutters.

  Exactly and any advice from a ' professional ' that turf can be left rolled up for two days without laying should raise alarm bells ...
  What I cannot understand is that how he has got away with it for so long eh 25 years ?
  Why haven't Trading Standards / Small Claims been involved before ?
