Thanks for the info
My current site doesnt really do that well in search engines as it is. But i am planning on keeping the original site as it only costs £6 per month to keep going.
I will keep the original name but probably have it dorment.

i recently changed from midland garden care ltd to uk groundcare ltd then changed my mind and changed back again, i own www.ukgroundcare.com and co.uk and i also own www.midlandgardencare.co.uk and com i have both url's pointing to the same site now i'm out of the google sand box i'm getting many more hits than a few months ago.
i still have uk ground care ltd as a dormant company but if i choose to i could start trading using that name the plan eventually is commercial work is uk ground care and domestic is midland garden care that way one could be sold as a business leaving me with the other.
p.s.
i agree with the others i'd go for Sonic grounds maintenance as for the sonic part at least you have a name that makes you stand out and memorable
I'd also go with SGM. I like that you haven't moulded your busines name around your own name, it makes like much easier when you want to sell up (if that's your exit strategy.)

Sonic Grounds Maintenance mate.
I have had to go with DJF Landscapes because there is a landscaper trading as DF Landscapes in a neighbouring town with the same area code
Well ive decided on Sonic Grounds Maintenance now.
Thanks to all.
Rowly, i decided on the word Sonic because it was my nickname my old colleagues a few yrs back.
I used to spike my hair up, so thats where Sonic came from! Plus i like to think i work at super hyper speed too!
I think its an unusual name, some people often comment on the name too, so i suppose people must remember the name, which is good!?
