Many of the finest independent ‘hero’ plant growers and specialist garden product makers from around the UK will be exhibiting at the spring Plant Finders Fair, and will be held at its brand new location, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, from 24 to 26 April 2015.
The Plant Finders Fair offers passionate gardeners the time and space to meet and talk to the exhibiting ‘hero’ growers and makers, and to select from an array of beautiful plants and products. This year also promises an elegant garden party atmosphere upon the Banks Lawn with the stunning backdrop of Kew Palace, once home to King George III.
The Fair’s hand-picked nurseries are coming from all over the UK. They include many Royal Horitcultural Society (RHS) gold-medal-winning growers such as Hardy's Cottage Garden Plants, who stock over 1200 varieties of rare and exciting plants; Pennard Plants, who will be selling their wide range of Heritage & Heirloom vegetable seeds; and internationally-renowned, classic rose grower Peter Beales.
Other specialist nurseries include The Botanic Nursery, who hold the national collection of foxgloves; Shady Plants from Ireland, who boast one of the widest collection of ferns in Europe; and Tynings Climbers, who specialise in a gorgeous selection of rare climbing plants.
The diversity and individuality of the garden paraphernalia exhibitors will also ensure a large selection of high quality goods and craftsmanship. The garden product exhibitors include: Garden and Wood, with their range of Antique garden tools, furniture and ephemera; Peter Dibble, the artisan basket maker; and Green Man Woodcrafts, bringing their wide range of traditional and contemporary bespoke wooden garden products.
