Really depends on whats in the lawn and how dry/hot things are. For lawns, we would normally have Crossbar/Holster, Greenor/Interfix, Relay/Super Selective, Jewel and Icade on board.
This season, Prompt from Agrigem will be our Relay replacement for general easier weeds, plus we're going to try flail on any nettle areas.
The nice thing about holster is that it mixes well with iron whereas relay etc does not.
Each has their own pros / cons in terms of weed coverage, weather forecast, rainfast timings etc, hence the need to carry a few different ones and use to their strengths.
We have quite a useful crib sheet which outlines weeds alongside a number of products showing their strengths and costings. I can email this as a PDF to anyone who may want it for reference, just drop me a line. ollie.wright@agrigem.co.uk
