Which tools? If you asked me if a Stihl FS 35 was up to much I'd have said no but the higher end Stihl stuff is. I have the Wolf extending loppers that I rate very highly. But I have no experience with any other wolf tool.

    • Ah yes good point, apologies. I meant the hand tools by Wolf Garten (multi change range). I'm liking the space saving nature, but they don't look very industrial though

  • I have the rake, spring tined rake, broom, and hoes from this system and they have been great. After 10 years the spring tined rake has lost 2 or 3 tines and is due for replacement now, but I wouldn't hesitate to replace it with the same again.

I also have their extending poles with pruning saw and lopper head which again do the job nicely for my needs.

    • thanks Chris, useful feedback, appreciate you taking the time

I have had Wolf tools for well over 5 years now - some of the original ones I have predated the 'quick change range' by some considerable time.

The only time I have ever had to replace any is if they have been lost.

Currently have both the three tined cultivator heads, both the soil rake heads, loppers, secateurs and single handed shears and well as a couple of other bits.

My loppers need a new anvil fitting and secateurs are worn out but considering the amount that they have done I am not surprised!

It is expensive kit, there's no getting around that, but its worth every penny, just don't loose it!

    • thankyou for your valuable feedback, it's appreciated. looks like it may be worth investing in some then, as I'm fed up breaking the cheap stuff

love the multi-change system. Have a couple of different length handles, lopper, hoe, saw, rake, scarify rake (a beast!), half moon edger. All great.

The only issue we had was with the lawn edge trimmer - sort of multi scissors connected to a ball. Couldn't get it to work easily so returned.

    • that's the sort of kit list I was thinking of, thankyou for validating. I saw that trimmer you mention and did wonder ...

also forgot to say, quite a few lawn care companies rate their petrol scarifiers. Inexpensive, lightweight and good for a couple of seasons hard use.

    • blimey scarey coincidence, as I'm going to look at one this Saturday £175 used but like new
