Fragrant white flowers in June. Needs a sheltered spot away from cold winds.
+1 to both of these. Trachelospermum and Clematis Armandii Apple Blossom planted together look great together (both being evergreen), you could plant some summer flowering clematis for year round interest.

Yes for the Trachelopspermum jasminoides, but I find the Clematis Armanii can become an invasive mess.

But personally I was brought up with Winter Jasmine, can't beat those cheerful yellow flowers in the depths of winter
