Just taken delivery of my new Bosch GRA53 professional cordless mower, its a beast of a machine which i bought at a massive discount... am waiting for the batteries and charger to arrive...they do a big strimmer as well.. The Etesia/Pellenc is high end pro kit, the Stihl a bit more mass market maybe but still good (couldn't manage without mine)...wasn't aware that Makita made pro garden cordless (yet)...there is some 80 volt equipment around, by Greenworks and other little known manufacturers. Its a question of where the high end domestic cordless equipment becomes professional gear, I have been using the bosch rotak 43li cordless mower on small to medium lawns for years now, probably not grounds contracting in the grand sense as such, but its been making me decent money and has its place for the small fiddly bits of grass where the big mowers are less suited
Interesting to see DeWalt has a large range of 40V MAX professional grounds care equip... (currently not available in the UK?).
They've just released a Pro Hedgetrimmer in the US :
DeWalt added the 20V MAX 5.0 Ah hedge trimmer to its line of professional-grade, battery-powered outdoor power equipment.
Weighing in at 7.8 pounds, this battery-powered trimmer features 22-inch laser-cut, hardened steel blades with 3/4 inch cut capacity.
This trimmer also includes a wrap-around auxiliary handle for a comfortable grip, and the switch with lock-off allows for fast, yet controlled actuation, the company said.
The 20V MAX features a nominal voltage of 18 and a 20-volt initial battery voltage.
