I just could not do that job of picking up poo. Unless it was my own pet. It's revolting.
Part of our duties as required within a town council contract we undertook was 1. empty 52 litter bins daily 2. clean a public toilet block.
Even though there were designated poo bins (17 in total) dog owners used the litter bins to deposit their dog poo sacs.
I successfully negotiated an uplift to the contract on the basis that our staff were exposed to extra health and safety hazards and that dog poo was not part of the specification.
Specialist waste contractors were paid separately for emptying and cleaning the poo bins bit, it seemed, we did all the work.
I'd have no hesitation clearing dog poo if the price was right.
Why don't you state that you will charge £1.00 per poo pile?
It may just come to it!
Where there's muck there's brass they say ! There's a polka dotted van trundles around our way doing this http://scoopdottydog.co.uk/
It's a sh*t job though.......
any idea what they charge to pick the mess up
sorry no idea - couldn't pay me enough to do it though ick !
