Evening all,

I've had a day of relentless bugbears today which led me to wonder what is the most annoying thing you hear on a regular basis?

I have a few..

'Rather you than me' (on a cold or wet day)

'Lovely day for it' (on a hot day)

Anything weather related really..

Do you have a rough idea of how much? (5 mins in to the first site visit whilst trying to measure up)

"I just need some ideas" (ARRRGGHHH)

the word Slabbing instead of Paving.

I'm sure I could think of some more..

"...but my last gardener was only £12 an hour!" (often after complaining they were rubbish and they sacked them)

"I'll just grab my list", now you know what you can do with your list. After ignoring their list a few visits they soon get the hint...;-)
  • the lady who complained her perennials 'died' in winter and was amazed when they came back in spring/ *every year*

  • " Can you cut the lawn shorter "

This is a bug bare for me! Can you cut my lawn shorter this time. Often followed by 'it hasn't grown too much, shall we half the visits' OR 'It's very yellow and dry, should it be!)

      • Absolutely narked me off that does.
      • Another one I get is
" the grass stops growing in October "
        • It does here! ( just south of Glasgow) if I get to November I am doing well

Am I the only one who looks forward to the grass slowing down?
