  • Hi Gavin, this is Simon from the Lawn Care Network; the site www.uklawncare.net is designed mainly to encourage new enquiries from customers who are looking for an Independent lawn care firm in their area. Listing on the site is free.  Meantime we are peddling hard to grow the (Domestic) Lawn Care Network and put the sector on the map. Our Annual Conference is on 11 Feb at Shrewsbury Town FC (details on the site). Thanks for asking about the Network.

I'm a member, have br 3 years. Very much like it, good meetings, open sharing and debate, plus good external presentations on key drivers eg regulatory or product technology.

    Will be attending Shrewsbury.

    Where are you based?

  • hi folks

    thanks for the replies!

i'm in lanarkshire, so could i be the first scottish member?

do members get a  lot of leads through the site?

  • PRO

I see from the UKLCN website there is a member in Edinburgh and another in Dundee, so not quite first, which is a good thing because...

Only get a handfull of referals from the webiste each year, however, do get some more from other member companies on my peripheral as they won't cover.

The main benefit is the meetings - I find them very worthwhile.

    • ahh ok

I suppose it would be a decent bit on the side of the van, giving a better impression!

is there many meetings north of the border?

  • PRO

    None I've heard of.

    • Gavin, Andy's right no meeting planned your far North I'm afraid, maybe one day! You may as well list your firm on the site though, all the best, Simon
