Total Weedkiller alternative to glyphosate

Has anyone experience of using Finalsan Plus? "A non-selective, effective weed killer for use against grass and broadleaved weeds, moss and algae. Delivers rapid activity, down the roots." Based on pelargonic acid and the growth regulator maleic hydrazide. Coverage is x10 less than gyphosate formulas.

  • Unless I've misread it, the coverage appears to be far less than Roundup.....Finalsan 166l/Ha and Roundup  5l/Ha............ which obviously makes it very expensive to use.  Reviews seem quite good though.

    • You are correct. I'm also not sure about the implications of only two applications a year as per label? Can someone explain how that equates to total maximum dose cf individual maximum dose?

Its a great double combo of weedkiller & moss/ algaekiller but it has two drawbacks - quite a high application rate so 10L only covers 300m2 and it cannot be used on hard surfaces: FINALSAN LINK

Kurtail Gold - now in 2litre size offera a good alternative to glyphosate - top growth kill on most weeds and approval for hard surfaces. 2L will cover approx 4000m2   KURTAIL GOLD HERE
